4 weeks in Trondheim

Since I didn't get round to posting during the last 4 weeks, this shall be a brief summary with loads of pictures.

Trondheim was as wonderful as I had expected, and once again I was rather lucky with the weather. Unfortunately, many of my Norwegian friends from 2010 were already at home or working, as they had their free period for working on their theses. But I still got to meet some of them, for example Torstein, Øyvind, Siri and Marte. I also spent time with my previous neighbours Rose, Jenny and Kathi. To sum up my free time activities: I watched some movies and went to the cinema with my friends, enjoyed a couple of barbecues, coffee and beer, went bouldering, swimming, geocaching and to some parties. As you can imagine, I didn't get bored. ;) I should have taken more pictures...

 

Since I was also in Trondheim to work, here are some photos of St. Olavs hospital. I spent 4 weeks at the department for obstetrics and gynaecology and really enjoyed my internship. The doctors and midwives were very friendly, let me do many examinations myself and explained a lot. Those four weeks went by far too quickly.
